4 Easy and Healthy Breakfast Ideas


You have probably heard over and over again that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we must say it is absolutely true. Do you really want to start your day with pancakes, scrambled eggs, donuts, bagels, or other unhealthy breakfast options? We highly doubt it. We know it is a challenge to decide what to eat in the morning, especially when you are pressed for time. We have come up with four different breakfast ideas that will help you satisfy your appetite without compromising your figure.


Plain Yogurt Con Fruits
1½ cups of fat-free or low fat plain yogurt along with two different fruits and a couple of cashews. We like to add chopped apples and about a handful of blueberries into the yogurt.

Nuts To Go
¼ cup of cashews and almonds, ¼ cup of raisins, ¼ cup of oats, and a chopped apple mixed together into a bowl. Make sure to either have a cup of tea or a glass of skim or 1% milk.

Flavorsome Breakfast Salad
Iceberg lettuce, 1/3 cup of dried cranberries, 1/3 cup of green peas, 1/3 cups of chickpeas, and one hard-boiled egg with NO DRESSING!

Multigalore
Two tablespoons of peanut butter spread on one slice of multigrain bread along with a banana and a glass of milk.
